When do you listen to music the most?: I listen to music the most when I am driving and working.  Or when I’m really pissed off.  But that doesn’t happen very often.  Also when I’m in the shower… but I don’t know if you wanted to know that.

Favorite place to sing?: My car and shower because you can sound as dumb as you want.  Ya… I’m one of those weird people you see bobbing their head in their car and singing to themselves.

Favorite instrument to play or listen to?: I used to play violin, then piano, then sax.  But I can’t play any of them now.  I love listening to someone who knows what they’re doing playing piano or drums.

Favorite food?: Oriental food is amazing.  To go along with that I love sushi.  Then would come anything hot and spicy.

If you could go anywhere for vacation where would you go?: I want to go back to Australia, preferably Queensland.  If not that, then I want to go to the Caribbean–because I want to live there.

If you had to pick the name of your own band what would it be?: In college I had aspirations to be a hip-hop artist with my roommate.  Our names were Lil Felon and Constituzion.  Our first album was going to be called Amendmentz.  I don’t know which is more sad – the political science influence or the aspiration.  Both are equally embarrassing.

Favorite instrument to play or listen to?: I’ve been known to tickle the ivories.  Also, I’m unsuccessfully teaching myself guitar.  I can play two songs in teh two years I’ve owned it.

If you could be a fruit, which would you be and why?: Probably a strawberry because they’re sweet.  I don’t have a cool answer.

If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?: I’m going to be cliche and say Hawaii.  I could find no reason to ever leave that place.

If you could meet anyone alive or dead, who would it be?: I have a few — Elvis because he’s fascinating, John Mayer because I’ve been waiting for him to find me and because I want him to teach me guitar, and Diane Sawyer because she’s why I became a journalist.

When do you listen to music the most: In my house is a room we call “the library,” but in addition to thousands of books, we have my wife’s piano, my guitar, the stereo, a flute, a piccolo, a coronet, a mountain dulcimer and an odd assortment of percussion instruments. So when I enter my library, music always seems to happen.

Favorite place to sing: When one of my favorite bands is on stage in front of me, I probably annoy those around me with my singing while I dance the night away. But I don’t care.

Hobbies/Interests: Music as it’s my consuming passion, I enjoy riding my mountain bike, roller skating, NFL, Motocross, and every concert I can make. Writing has long been a hobby in writing lyrics and short stories. Writing a screenplay is on for 2010.
