It Wrecked Me – “Over and Underneath” by Tenth Avenue North

One of the most amazing things about music (to me) is its ability to completely relate to my life – to capture exactly what I’m going through.  And not only that… I’ve found certain songs can even encourage or challenge me.

And then there’s “Over and Underneath” – Tenth Avenue North’s album – which did all of that and so much more.  It wrecked me.  In a good way.  In a very, very good way.

Every song on this album has depth.  The lyrics are so poignant and real.  One of the things I’ve read about Tenth Avenue North is that they write their songs so that they capture truth and then the struggle that sometimes (OK most times) comes along with accepting that truth.  Because most of the time… the truth is challenging.  It’s hard.  But in the end… it’s so worth it.

So here’s the truth.  “Over and Underneath” will challenge you.  It just may wreck you.  And you should check it out.
