The Downtown Struts


Recently I saw the band The Downtown Struts at the Vogue. When this punk rock foursome hit the stage they came with all cylinders firing. Their massive blend of what I can only describe as punk rockabilly was low and driving like a nonstop freight train.

Warfliegh Block Party Review: Andrew Rosborough


So yesterday I attended this Warfliegh block party, which was really a glorified neighborhood get together, where all the adults indulged in endless drinking. While the neighborhood children all ran around and played relatively unsupervised, but their was LIVE MUSIC !

Moreland and Arbuckle


his Kansas Duo founded in 2002 will be at the Rathskeller on the 26th of this month. The group has been praised for their combination of Rural and Delta Blues, which makes for a sweet tasting jam of down home roots music. Now I Love blues as much as the next music fan, but this is not your daddy’s Blues records.

The New Guy: An Intorduction


Hey music lovers I’m new here to Indyconcerts.com, and I have to say I’m looking forward to it. While reading everyone else’s intro article I noticed a reoccurring theme. Everyone was naming his or her favorite bands, or at least their favorite genre. So if that’s what the world of music information reader’s want. You are going to be disappointed. I don’t have a favorite band, genre, style, or even decade of music.
