X-Fest/Uproar is a mere three days away, and if you’re anything like me, you’ve had this date circled on your calendar ever since the announcement was made at May Day.  Just think, you’re just a few days away from seeing the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine and more rock Verizon Wireless Music Center...

If you have jumped around the local music scene enough there are some names that people just know. There are the bands that are up and coming, there are the bands that have established themselves somewhat and then there are those bands that are scene staples. Over the last couple years the Indy Scene has slowly watched as some of those scene staples wither away, yet one always remained to stay strong... 

It happens more than we’d like to admit. You know what I mean.  When that can’t miss end-of-summer concert featuring some of rocks biggest names comes to town and excites you to no end.  Then all of a sudden, reality hits and you’re stuck with this dilemma: You can’t afford tickets. For those who can’t, worry no longer.  You know the old saying your parents always... 

Sugarland just released a statement about how they felt about the Indiana State fair on their site. As I was personally there I completly understand their need to take a couple of days to process everything. I myself felt that need.
