97.1 Hank FM Country Battle of the Bands at 8 Seconds Saloon

One of the most exciting battle of the bands in Indianapolis is beginning this Friday, 4/17/09, the 97.1 Hank FM Battle of the Bands!!! And what other place in Indianapolis would be better for such an amazing event other than the one and only best country bar in the city…8 Seconds Saloon. For those of you that have been asleep the past couple years 8 Seconds Saloon is located at 111 North Lynhurst in Indianapolis, that’s the west side of Indy by Rockville road. If you have never been there, you’re missing out. Even if you aren’t a fan of country music it is still an awesome time, and they play other music too.

Anyway back to this Battle, there are four dates for this country battle of the bands:  April 17th, April 24th, May 8th, then Finals on May 29th. The top bands from Round 1 will advance to the Finals and receive at least 1 regular Saturday Night Booking. The winning band will be booked for New Years Eve, along with regular bookings at 8 Seconds Saloon. The winning band will also be featured at 2 Hank FM events throughout the coming year, and get to perform an acoustic song of their choice, Live on 97.1 Hank FM! Oh and make sure to look for the Hank FM celebrity judge at the battle! Whatever you do, do not miss this Country Battle of the Bands, it is going to incredibly fun. Doors open at 6:00pm

    I was at the 8 Seconds Saloon Friday night The Keith Swinney Band should have been moved to the finals. What a big upset…
