Tomorrow night starting at 8 p.m. Endiana will be opening for Split Lip Rayfield at Radio Radio. Split Lip Rayfieldconsists of three “bad-asses” that contribute to a sound unlike any other. They venture to find a medium between bluegrass and punk rock, and they are pleased with their success in doing so. (Please refer to the YouTube clip included in this post.) SLR has been making their rounds for more than 14 years now, and since the loss of their co-founding member, Kirk Rundstrom, they have had to rebuild their roots. However, they seem to be doing a fine job!
Now they are promoting their fifth album, “I’ll Be Around.” They keep trucking on even though obstacles have been thrown in their musical path and have conquered with a banjo, mandolin, guitar and one-sting bass.
