Concert Preview: The Black Crowes at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre

Tonight at the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre will be a walk down memory lane for many attending The Black Crowes performance. Their tour which comes to Indy days after the release of their 9th studio album covers a variety of material although their new cd is an acoustic album with songs spanning their first six albums. The tour being named “Say Goodnight To The Bad Guys” is once again a planned departure for those who once called themselves Mr. Crowes Garden as they plan to dissolve the band known as the Most Rock n Roll Rock n Roll Band in the world. That being said and never knowing if this planned break up will stick or not gives great reason to attend this seasoned bands show in a venue so well suited for an intimate evening with the brothers Robinson and company! Their previous shows set lists have shown a consistent mix of those songs from the new album Croweology and have also dictated a few surprises still leaving one guessing as to what will be performed tonight. One thing is certain, the evening will be a wonderful ride through a music library of one of America’s greatest bands with one half of the show acoustic and the other half electric. See you at the show!
