Halloween Weekend

Halloween is this Saturday, and what better way to spend the weekend than catching some great shows? There are plenty to choose from, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find the perfect way to celebrate with style.

This weekend at The Vogue, heavy metal band Queensryche will perform tonight, along with opener Lita Ford. Queensryche has been successful for a long time, and will surely put on a good show for those looking to rock out. Saturday night, Vogue-favorites Here Come the Mummies will perform their annual Halloween show. They’ve got a high-energy, party-funk sound, and it should be a great time.

Tomorrow night, Verizon Wireless Music Center will host their final event of the season, a concert with hard rock band Insane Clown Posse. To read more about this show, click here.

Local favorite Gene Deer will perform both tonight and Saturday night at Zanies Too. Tonight will be a solo show, and Saturday will feature his full band. Deer has a great blues sound, so if that’s what you’re into, Zanies Too is the place to be this weekend.

Emerson Theater is hosting a costume party Saturday night featuring bands such as My Hidden Track, Same as Sunday, Until Then, and more.
