Oh, hello…I didn’t see you there.  My name is Matt Chapman and I am the newest intern writer here at indyconcerts.com.  I am currently a senior at Butler University, but I will always call Chicago home.  My love for music started in childhood when I was fed a steady dose of Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Supertramp, and Chicago, just to name a few.  This early introduction into music was a strong foundation for the wealth of music I have come to love since then.  These days the most important things I look for in music are authenticity and groovability (yes, I made that word up).  These criteria cover an extremely wide variety of music, but if I had to name a few of my favorite artists right now they would be Jay-Z, Deadmau5, Rusko, The Avett Brothers, Kanye West, AudioDax, Grizzly Bear, The Black Keys, and Atmosphere.  I am very excited to be bringing all of the latest music info to all of you and I hope that you enjoy my writing.  If you don’t, let me know why and I’ll tell you why you’re wrong.
