It seems like just yesterday a hard rock outfit from Chicago led by some chrome domed frontman was shouting strange noises through a mic and telling us to get “Down With The Sickness.”
Fast forward to today, where they’ve released five studio albums and sold over 11 million worldwide (including three consecutive #1′s on the Billboard Top 200), circled the globe several times and influenced a multitude of imitators along the way. It’s been a great last decade for Disturbed, and to celebrate, they’ve re-released 2000′s “The Sickness” (remastered and featuring two B-sides) and have a DVD entitled “Decade of Disturbed” in the works.
But wait, there’s more!
In support of their latest album “Asylum” (due out August 31), Disturbed is hitting the road. Unfortunately, the inaugural Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival will not be rolling through Indy. For those that may not want to road trip to the closest city, this is a slightly easier option coming to your way this fall:
Disturbed will be making their way to the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre October 19. As of now, no word on supporting acts, but more on that should be known as it gets closer to show time. Keep check back here for more details as they become known. It’s a show to celebrate the last decade, and usher in the next 10 with their new album. Where else would you rather be on a Tuesday night in October? Sound good? Here’s the rest:
Tickets go on sale this Friday (8/13). Find yours here.
