Indianapolis Concert: Jeff Dunham at Conseco Fieldhouse

Jeff Dunham will be performing at Conseco Fieldhouse tomorrow (Thursday), Feb. 26. Dunham is one of the biggest comedians out there right now and is sure to put on a good show. The ventriloquist got his start with a performance for Johnny Carson on the “Tonight Show” and has gradually become one of comedy’s biggest stars since then. His performances consistently sell out and his DVDs have sold over 2 million copies, which is unheard of for stand-up comedy. This past holiday season he released “A Very Special Holiday Special,” which, when broadcasted on Comedy Central, became the channel’s most-watched show ever.

His puppet characters, according to one reviewer, “have more personality than a lot of people I know.” From Walter, the grumpy retiree, to Achmed, the dead terrorist, to Peanut, the “creature” who doesn’t stop to think before speaking, each and every one of his characters will leave you laughing until you run out of breath. Known for toeing the line of political correctness. “I’ve skewered whites, blacks, Hispanics, Christians, Jews, Muslims, gays, straights, rednecks, addicts, the elderly, and my wife. As a stand-up comic, it is my job to make the majority of people laugh,” says Dunham. At tomorrow’s show, I guarantee you’ll all be laughing by the time he’s through.

The show starts at 7:30, and tickets are $43.50.
