John Mayer recently announced plans for his 2010 summer tour, and fortunately for us, he’ll be making a stop at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville on August 15.
He’s just about to begin a six-week stint overseas, and then he’ll head back to the states to kick off his US tour in July. Although I didn’t love his latest album, Battle Studies, I did catch him in Louisville on his winter arena tour, and I thought his live show was better than ever. I’ll definitely be in attendance when he makes his way to Indiana this summer.
If that’s not enough incentive for you to go, the Avett Brothers will be opening the show. They sold out the Murat when they were in town a few months ago, so if you’re like me and missed your chance then, make sure you get out and see them this time around.

and if i got him backstage passes he would freak out . hah he calls john mayer “his man lover”. he’s so excited for the concerrt, and idk i just really wanna get backstage passes for him so he can meet his favorite musician.
