Alt-metal outfit Sevendust will take fellow rockers Drowning Pool with them on a late winter road trip ahead of a new studio set tentatively titled “Cold Day Memory.”
The two groups will kick off the run with a Jan. 27 show in West Palm Beach, FL, and work their way west, visiting clubs in 11 cities along the way. The itinerary currently wraps with a March 7 performance in Seattle. Details are below.
Sevendust and Drowning Pool will be making their way for a concert in Indianapolis on February 24th at 8 Seconds Saloon. If you’ve never been to 8 Seconds Saloon, its pretty awesome. Its normally a country music establishment, but does have a track record for hosting some amazing rock concerts.
Tickets for most shows went on sale last Friday (1/23) at the band’s website.
Earlier this month, Sevendust asked fans via its MySpace page to post the 20 songs they would like to see on the setlist for the impending concerts. No word yet on what will come about from the 500-plus comments. Sevendust will release its eighth studio album, tentatively titled “Cold Day Memory,” later this year. ”We’re officially done tracking the record and will be taking a small break and then mix it and hope for an April release,” the group posted last month at its website.
