Just today I was driving through the back roads of Indiana, crooning to Tim McGraw like a good little Hoosier should. Luckily, he’s gracing his presence at Verizon Wireless on Thursday, June 17th at 7:00 PM and bringing Lady Antebellum and the Lost Trailers with him. Can you say “jackpot”? I think so. With his last album, Southern Voice, debuting in October of 2009, McGraw took a temporary hiatus from singing to act as Sean Tuohy in this past year’s The Blind Side starring Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock. When he’s not busy being an award-winning singer (11 consecutive albums debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Country chart, and he’s won 3 Grammys, 11 Country Mousic Association awards, 10 American Music awards, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, and 3 People’s Choice awards- phew!) McGraw contributes to various charities (American Red Cross and the Brett Favre Fourward Foundation among others). As an all-around charming guy, his concert is sure to be a spit-fire crowd pleaser. And if that picture to the right isn’t enough to make you attend, I honestly don’t know what is.
