Following their in-progress European tour supporting Spoon, Brooklyn-based indie rockers White Rabbits will pound the pavement stateside behind the band’s most recent set, “It’s Frightening.”
The roadtrip begins with an April 5 performance in Charlottesville, VA, followed by club shows in 19 cities throughout the nation. Two Canadian dates are also on the books: April 27 in Toronto and April 28 in Montreal. The band concludes the tour with a May 1 concert in Boston.
White Rabbit will be in Indianapolis for a concert on April 26th at Radio Radio. More tour dates are below.
An April 17 gig at Indio, CA’s Coachella Festival is also on White Rabbits’ itinerary.
“It’s Frightening,” the rock sextet’s sophomore release, hit shelves last May. The 10-track album, which was produced by Spoon’s Britt Daniel and mixed by longtime Spoon producer Mike McCarthy, is the band’s first on the TBD Records label.
“[White Rabbits singer Steve Patterson] would meet me at the studio with his dog, some Powerbars, a couple things of kombucha, and a 40-oz of Budweiser,” Daniel said in a press release. “I got the dog, but his diet never made a lick of sense to me.”
The latest effort follows up the group’s full-length debut, “Fort Nightly,” which surfaced in 2007.
