Costumes; free candy; slasher flick marathons; “a 5000 year old foul smelling, well-endowed, and manly tribe, capable of infinite funkiness.”
One of these used to stick out more than that house that gave kids sugar-free candy every Halloween, but thanks to Here Come The Mummies, now you can have all four of them. Yes, I realize that it’s still July and October seems like an eternity from now, but it’s always good to plan ahead, and I’ll tell you why:
Here Come The Mummies will be bringing their “terrifying funk from beyond the grave” to The Vogue October 28-29 for their annual two-night Halloween shows. Joining them for both nights is fellow Tennessee R&B/soul artist Space Capone. Don’t feel like partying in someone’s basement out in the middle of nowhere? How about coming out to Broad Ripple for a night of music (or two)? If this sounds like your kind of scene, read on for more:
Tickets for both nights go on sale this Friday (July 23) at The Vogue box office or TicketMaster at 10:00 a.m. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with the show starting at 9:00 p.m. This is is non-smoking, and as always, you must be 21+.
