The Max Allen Band
July 7th at Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville Indiana not only marks the return of Santana & Steve Winwood to Verizon, it’s the Max Allen Band’s first time opening for the mega stars! Max is no ordinary local band as he’s already traveled most of the country touring and he’s opened or performed with such acts as Dickey Betts, Umphrey’s McGee, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and the Spin doctors. Max Allen takes the stage at 6:30pm sharp so arrive early and catch a surprise sensation if you’re not already aware of his talent! Max can be heard often around Indy at various venues with an ever changing fresh sound backed by the best of guitar skill and back beat. The band’s sound covers rock, funk, jazz, blues, and I believe is known as Indy’s best Jam Band. With Six albums in the rear view mirror the Max Allen Band is cruising on up the road and turning heads as they pass! A new album is in the works and perhaps you’ll hear what’s coming up Wednesday night! The Max Allen Band is no opener to miss, so go early and stay late as it promises to be a fabulous night of sweet sounding guitar from beginning to end!
