An ode to local music will be taking place at Birdy’s  August 7th. Ricky has created the event of the summer, in honor of some of the best bands the site has worked with, even a traveling poet. This night is sure to have something for everyone with its acts bridging every genre of the local scene. Throw in the fact that you are seeing six bands for a dollar each, and it’s destined to be one of the best shows the North side has seen. Not only is it cheap, and insanely packed with talent, Birdy’s will also be offering some of the best drink specials in town exclusively for the show.

The bands featured were handpicked specifically for the best talent, sound, and atmosphere. The six bands chosen for this one of a kind event are as follows: Jason Firebaugh, Digs Bridges, Brad Real, The Post Script, Ironsides, the Will Woodrow Project, and poetry from DDE. Doors open at 7pm and the music won’t stop until the wee hours of the morning.
