Snoop Dogg keeps ‘Malice’ moving, concert in Fort Wayne

Snoop Dogg has extended his in-progress US tour, adding a handful of East Coast shows to the mix through the end of February.

The hip-hop icon has spent the last two weeks on the road, starting out in the West and working his way to the East. Since last check, Snoop has tacked another 10 shows onto the schedule, which continues Feb. 4 in Miami Beach and wraps up Feb. 28 in Philadelphia. In between Miami and Philly, on Feb. 19th, Snoop will be stopping in Fort Wayne at Piere’s Entertainment Center. The full schedule is below.

Snoop’s 10th studio set, “Malice N Wonderland,” hit stores in December. The effort features production by Dr. Dre, The Neptunes and Pete Rock, among others, and guest appearances by R. Kelly, Ghostface Killah, Mary J. Blige, Pharrell and many others.

“Malice in Wonderland” follows last year’s “Ego Trippin’,” which debuted at No. 3 on The Billboard 200. The album has spawned four singles, most recently “Pronto,” which features a guest appearance by Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em.

Last month, in his new role as Creative Chairman of Priority Records–recently revived by parent company EMI–Snoop announced the signing of Cypress Hill to the imprint.

“Cypress Hill is undeniably one of the most important hip-hop groups in music history,” the Grammy-nominated rapper said in a press statement. “Not only are they incredibly talented and the first Latino hip-hop group to go platinum, they are also from the West Coast–so this signing is the perfect marriage.”
