The Fray has been around since 2002 but has recently started popping up in more and more households via television, video games
, internet and radio. This summer they are going to be performing at the Lawn at White River in downtown Indy July 2, 2009. But if you can’t get enough of The Fray they will be performing on NBC’s Today show June 26, 2009.
The Fray is a four-piece piano rock band who was formed by classmates and friends Isaac Slade and Joe King. They are a Denver-based group who has topped charts with hits like “How to Save a Life.” They have also had national success with the song “Over my Head (Cable Car),” which went double platinum. Not only that but they signed on for the 2008/2009 VH1′s Save the Music Fund as ambassadors.
During their Indy performance they will have Jack’s Mannequin as their guests. They are another piano rock band. They originated in Los Angeles California. This band was formed in 2004 and after a run in with acute lymphoblastic lukemia by creator and front man Andrew McMahon, who did make a full recovery, they are now ready to start on their road to success.
