The Join will perform at the Bluebird in Bloomington tomorrow, March 4.
The band is actually a combination of members from two different bands, The New Deal and the Disco Biscuits. It was founded by the drummer and keyboard player of The New Deal — the other members rotate in and out depending on tour scheduling and geographical factors. The music is electronica-based and highly improvisational. If that sounds like the kind of thing you’re into, it should be a really great show — there will be some excellent musicians on stage and you don’t want to miss out.
Tickets are $15 and the show starts at 9.
