This Week at the Bluebird

The Bluebird in Bloomington has two exciting shows this week for rock fans.

Tomorrow (Thursday, November 12), the band Future Rock will bring their high-energy electronic/rock hybrid into town. The trio utilizes live loops, synthesizers, filters, and electronic drum kits as well as other instruments to create a very unique, party-ready sound. They also utilize an outstanding light show to supplement their music, and are known for their fantastic live shows.

Corey Smith will perform Saturday the 14th. His southern roots have shaped his unique style with traces of gospel, country, blues, rock, and even hip-hop. The former high school teacher has been writing songs and touring for the last decade, and has built up a huge following across the country. His new album will be released next Tuesday, so fans will surely be treated to some of his new material as well as past favorites.
