Train, recently of “Hey Soul Sista” fame will be hitting the Murat Egyptian Room stage tonight at 7:00 pm!
The group, also known for hit singles ”Drops of Jupiter” and “Calling all Angels” (two of my fave Train/old school hits), is comprised of frontman Patrick Monahan, guitarist Jimmy Stafford and drummer Scott Underwood. Their second album Drops of Jupiter, released in 1998, propelled the band to fame. The song earned 2 Grammy wins and the album went Platinum.
Their current hit “Hey Soul Sista,” released on their album Save Me San Francisco in 2009, is the band’s second hit since “Drops of Jupiter” and made it to top 10 on Billboard Hot 100.
