(on the right side of your page) Yele Haiti is WyClef Jean’s organization for Haiti Relief. What has happen in Haiti is catastrophic and devastating. They do not have the resources or man power like the United States, they are our neighbor, our little brother, and they’ve fallen down, the least we can do is to help pick them back up. Yes, the United States has its own problems to deal with, but its good sometimes to put personal problems aside and be selfless.

Haiti earthquake facts reveal that the earthquake occurred at 4.53 p.m. on January 12, 2010. The centre of the earthquake was about 16 miles away from the capital – Port-au-Prince. The magnitude of earthquake was measured at 7 richter scale. The human loss ranges between 50,000 to 200,000, exact number is still to be calculated. A large number of buildings collapsed including the President’s palace, and National Assembly building. A very large number of organizations are busy in relief activities and people as individuals, groups, associations and countries are donating. So please do your part and donate as well, even if its just $5.00, every little bit counts.

Tonight is the Hope For Haiti Telethon, it will be the most widely distributed telethon in history. There will be performances across the nation and even in London.
