Music News: Rihanna books comeback performance

Of all people to snag Rihanna’s first public performance since the Chris Brown incident, it was none other than … Jay Leno. She will be performing her new single “Run This Town” with Jay-Z and Kanye West when Leno makes his prime-time debut September 14.

While times are looking up for Rihanna, Chris Brown has not been so lucky. He’s been officially dropped from his sponsorship with Wrigley and yesterday a judge postponed his sentencing to August 27 in order to review his proposed community service plan he wishes to complete in Virginia. The judge could impose five years of probation and 1,400 hours of community service. And you thought this was over …
