Request Rock Prophecies TODAY & watch sneak peak here!

Remember the band I spoke of who played at the Slippery Noodle back on July 2nd? The young guy who I quoted as being the “Future of Rock & Roll?” Well his name is Tyler Bryant and the rock documentary he stars in is now upon us but help is needed to see it air on your local PBS affiliate. Please call or email your affiliate and ask them to air the broadcast premier of “Rock Prophecies” and see what the future of Rock & Roll holds. Over 225 affiliates around the country have already scheduled their broadcast for a September debut on TV with only the Muncie and Evansville affiliates scheduling it in Indiana thus far. Click on the video below for a sneak peak of Rock Prophecies then make that call! Indy’s local affiliate is WFYI and given we’ve already had a taste of Tyler Bryant’s music here in indy we need to demand they schedule it now! Rock Prophecies is an exciting documentation of famed photographer Robert M. Knight as he seeks out Tyler Bryant, a teenage guitar prodigy who Robert believes possesses the same driving spirit which exuded from Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix! The documentary follows Tyler’s beginning with performances and appearances by Slash, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Santana, Jeff Beck, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Steve Vai, Joe Bonamassa, and more! It also highlights the band “Sick Puppies”, another youthful band who caught Robert’s eye.

Since Tyler Bryant’s spectacular show at the Slippery Noodle he’s been rather busy as he opened for REO Speedwagon several dates, performed at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville Tn opening for the Wilson sisters of the rock band Heart, and an opening date sharing the stage with the toxic twins, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith. Tyler’s band has been very busy and it appears it won’t stop any time soon! For the gamers reading you can also check out Tyler’s song “Who I am” on Guitar Hero 5 which came out earlier in the year.  Needless to say Tyler has made a big splash and the wave will only grow larger after viewers watch the debut of Rock Prophecies and decide for themselves just how special Tyler Bryant is to the rock world and it’s future. My hand in encouraging Tyler to perform at the Slippery Noodle came from my appreciation of his blues roots and the type of outstanding young man he was. I had met him in Chicago last year at this time as he performed at the House Of Blues and from that point forward wanted to know more of what inspired him and his inspirational passion for music. This is only the beginning for Tyler Bryant which brings promise to the future of rock & roll and hopefully of blues as well. Tyler, having learned of blues early on realizes the importance of blues to rock & roll and hopefully others will follow in discovering appreciation of the same.

Check out the links below before calling your PBS station to request the documentary be aired immediately, then come back and tell me what you thought of the documentary by commenting below. You can also learn more of Rock Prophecies and Tyler Bryant by following both on facebook! Keep listening, sharing, and supporting the music you love!
