These are the types of stories I love. Titus Andronicus will embark on a huge tour across the states this spring. The Jersey group will make a stop here in Indy on April 20 at Radio Radio. Now that is good news for us here in Indy, but wouldn’t you like to give back to the band and show them some hospitality and give them a place to stay for the night. Well you’re in luck, the band posted on their blog that they are looking for a place to crash at every stop on the tour. They will return the favor by letting you come to the show for free.
The tour aptly titled “The Monitour”, in support of their sophomore effort “The Monitor” released March 9, kicks off March 6 in New York City. It will “officially” run through April 24, but the group has also offered to play in your city if you have a PA system. So if they aren’t coming to your city, you can still get a hold of the band on their days off and get them to play in your town. I’ll now take this time to officially offer my living quarters to the group. If you would like to come spend a night in suburbia and a hop, skip, and jump away from the venue your more than welcome. It’s awesome to see that DIY attitude make somewhat of a comeback, it’s not often you see a really great band give back to the fans in such a unique way.
