I couldn’t have been more happy with last night’s TV lineup if I wanted to be…for starters, the NFL season is underway, my picks are in for the week and my fantasy lineup is set…and since I wasn’t totally into last night’s game, I was able to sneak away and catch the pilot of the CW’s new show Vampire Diaries. As a Twi-hard, I was skeptical that the Diaries would suck me in…I was wrong! I am loving this fab little show…it gives me just a taste of Twilight, and has just enough of it’s own twists to make me wonder what might happen next…anyway, enough of my plug for the show…what I really loved last night was the music!!! From beginning to end, this show had a killer soundtrack. From Silversun Pickups, to Mat Kearney, to OneRepublic, to MGMT to The Fray and more, this show could not be more current when it comes to it’s background tunes.
