It’s sad but true, Danny is gone.  While I’m sad, he did suck compared to Kris and Adam.  I think part of the issue is that he was completely sabotaged by Paula’s song choice.  What the hell was that?  Then his choice of Joe Cocker was weak at best.  Say what you want, but I’m over his personal tragedy.  He’s way better when he’s not serenading his dead wife. ...

It came as no surprise that Matt Giraud got the boot from Idol last night.  Despite having a huge fan club in the judges, it’s been clear for several weeks that the fans aren’t looking for a Justin Timberlake wannabe – they prefer the real deal.  What did come as a huge shocker (even though I predicted it), was that Adam Lambert was in the bottom three.  The producers of the show... 

Admittedly, it seemed like “Rat Pack Night” was a little weird for a group of singers whose parents may not even remember (or have been alive) during the group’s heydey in the mid-60s.  Then it got weirder when they brought ego-maniac Jamie Foxx into the mix.  But the Idols did not disappoint – and neither did Jamie Foxx.  I actually really enjoyed watching Foxx interact... 

Last night on Idol, Anoop and Lil got the boot.  No surprise there.  I’m sad about Anoop, but I’m way more interested in talking about the disco train wreck that happened on the Idol stage last night.  What the hell happened?  First of all, they let Paula choreograph the Idol group dance.  Hilarious.  I felt like I was watching an old Paula video from the early 90s where there is...

Shockingly, Disco Night on Idol was very un-disco-y, and I loved it.  I heart Kris Allen AND Adam Lambert, but I’ll give last night to Kris because his performance came as a such a surprise.  Contrary to what my brother-in-law thinks, I am not actually a Kris Allen hater…especially not after last night.  I thought his version of She Works Hard for the Money was fantastic and amazingly... 

When it comes to Britney Spears and her fans, there is no shortage of crazy behavior. Last week, Spears had an uninvited visitor at her Calabasas, Calif. home. Miranda Tozier-Robbins, a former American Idol hopeful, snuck onto the singer’s property, peering into her windows while wearing a camouflage ensemble. American voted off the Justin Timberlake look-alike Matt Giraud on Wednesday, but the judges saved him for a least another week. There you have it.  The judges’ save has been used and is no longer in play.  While I think Matt deserved saving, I agree he has absolutely no shot of winning this show with performers like Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Allison Iraheta ahead of him.  That’s...
