An metal-influenced acoustic guitar duo?  Does this sound more like an oxymoron or an upcoming show at The Vogue? I am sitting here with an incredible talent, Mr. Todd Carey.  Todd and I have been friends for quite some time and I have seen him perform on numerous stages and both full band and solo.  Todd brings a smiling face, an incredible voice, mind blowing lyrics, and a way with a guitar that is hard to find in the industry these days.  He is fun.  His music is fun.  Todd just makes music what it was... 

If you took Relient K and put them in a blender with Treaty of Paris, Yellowcard, and New Found Glory you might come close to the insane talent packed into the Boyd brother’s band 3Union.  Warped Tour is where you would expect to find a group like this and it has even been a jumping off point for thousands of bands in it’s ten years of touring.   Still, I am not sure talent of this magnitude... 

When I first met this guy it was in a hole in the wall bar right here in Indianapolis.  By the night’s end we were hanging out in a hotel in downtown Indianapolis with other Indyconcerts.com favorite in Ernie Halter, Trey Lockerbie, and Tony Lucca.  Since he continues to play shows nearly every night of the week.  He has hit over two million plays on MySpace and is currently on tour with Andy... 

I was selling TV’s when I heard the name Carl Harper. I was talking with some relatives of his and they were speaking of some talent in their family that lived over seas. They said that I should listen to his tunes and see what I thought. Well, I did, and I found nothing but incredible lyrics, pure talent in the guitar strings, and a true sense of the word music. This guy understands what it takes...
