Concert Review: 100 Monkeys on the loose in Indianapolis….must be an interesting show
This past Wednesday night was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. From the moment that the 100 Monkeys entered my day it was an interesting event. Their signing at Best buy, was more than any fan could have ever expected. Not only were they able to get autographs they were able to enjoy a preview of what the night at the Egyptian Room would be. The boys played a few songs for the fans...

A Day with 100 Monkeys, with Backstage Footage
Wednesday 100 Monkeys were let loose on this city and they rocked it from the moment they stepped off the bus. Ok maybe there wasn’t a 100 of them, but with all the instruments this band incorporates you would think there was more than five.
The boys started off their day at Fox News, and one of the local radio stations. At which point they headed to Best Buy for a signing. This is when I met...

An Interview with Ben Graupner of 100 Monkeys
Jackson Rathbone might be best known for being Jasper in Twilight, but before he ever stepped on the twilight set, he and room-mate Ben Graupner had a budding love with 100 Monkeys.
Rathbone and Graupner attended a performing arts school in Michigan, yes they attended for theater, but they fell in love with music, and art in general.
“The way the school works out, you’re living with a whole bunch...

Album Review: The Holland Account’s Self-Titled Ep
The Holland Account… what more do I need to say? When I first started listening to The Holland Account, they had just barely created a demo CD which gave them no justice. At the moment, The Holland Account has come to a point in their career where a full-length CD with the current band is no longer a dream; it’s a reality. Hailing from Indy, this band has the potential to make their mark on the...
Music of the living dead.
What could be more appropriate than Rob Zombie coming to concert during the haunted season? Nothing that’s what. Rob Zombie is the perfect closing to the Halloween season and he will be scaring the stage, I mean gracing the stage at Murat Theater on November 16th.
Rob Zombie is taking a break from his awesome film career to give us a kick-ass show, as I am sure he will since he hasn’t let...
Lita Ford Re-opens Her Eyes Forever.
Ahhh, Lita Ford! This post could just read her name and all things that are good and evil would intertwine and make some sort of memory of at least one of her songs, and if nothing else her hotness. But what kind of writer would I be if I just wrote her name and left you wondering what the deal was? Not a very good one, that’s for sure.
Lita Ford will not only be touring with Queensryche at The...
Music Venue Closed.
Sam’s Saloon of Indianapolis was one of the last year’s most active concert venues (and one of Indy’s oldest saloons) and as of February 2009 they closed their doors. Why? I don’t know. Sam’s MySpace page just informed friends that they were closing their doors and that a mass email would be sent out. The blog post stated:
“Thank you to all the local & national...
More than a festival.
Indy Pride is right around the corner, June 13th and along with all that a festival has to offer there will be music and headlining this year is Kat DeLuna. The 21-year-old performer is reemerging from her hiatus and touring clubs and festivals promoting her debut album 9 Lives.
This album is a techno, dance and rock infused pop album that is giving DeLuna a new perspective on her career. This album...
