Concert Review: Guster, Jack’s Mannequin and Lady Danville at White River Park
Can I just say how much I love Jack’s Mannequin? Well I do, I love them and I am so happy that I was able to see them alongside Guster at White River Lawn on Monday, August 29th. Of course, many of you who attended were there to see Guster, but I was there to see Jack’s Mannequin as well as Augustana, who, unfortunately had to cancel their tour with the bands due to circumstances out of their...
The Songwriter’s Circle Review July 29
Last night at The Irving Theater, I attended my first Songwriter’s Circle. The four talented songwriters gathered up by Robin Coleman made it a priority on my future calendar. Jessi Curtis, Cari Ray, Tim Wilsbach, and Nick Ivanovich brought their A game. There was a nice easy flow of song set ups, fellow artist admiration, and humor mixed in with songs you wanted to hear again and again.
Jessi...
Bright Eyes at the Murat
When I first started this internship, this is the one concert I begged to go to. I know I am a bit out of the age demographics to be a Conor junkie but I have been for years. It could be the clever lyrics he weaves, his voice he manipulates for further conveyance, or I will admit he is pretty damn cute for a youngster. This...

Concert Review: Sonia Leigh’s Performance at Radio Radio Left Me Wanting More…Vocals.
As I walked into Radio Radio last night for Sonia Leigh’s performance, I did not really know what to expect. I had learned she had been signed to Zac Brown Band’s record label and that she was a small girl with a booming voice and poetic lyrics. As an audience member last night at her show, I can only confirm two of these things. Let me explain.
Sonia Leigh is part of a five-piece band who...
