If you love local music you have probably had a chance to catch the guys in Sweatshirt Weather do a set, you have probably listened to their first EP, and you might even follow them on Facebook. The band who began by making music bi-coastally over the internet realized years ago that their sound was something that needed to be heard, and they were right. It is rare for me to listen to a female singer and actually like what I hear. I don’t know if it is the fact that I feel most of their voices all sound the same, or the thought of them writing lyrics that they could never relate to. But when I first heard the voice of the band I am sitting with today I practically fell off my chair. Not only does her voice give you chills but the instrumentals... 

Next Thursday, July 2nd, The Fray and Jack’s Mannequin will perform at the Lawn at White River State Park in Indianapolis.
