One of the benefits to my job is the people I meet.  I am not talking about the bands this time; this is about the random fans I meet.  Many I times talk my way into an empty seat at a table with strangers to review and end up striking up a conversation.  We talk music at first of course but sometimes I get lucky and find a new friend to attend concerts.  Saturday was a planned girl’s night out...

OMG – It’s actually going to happen.  I bought my ticket on Sunday.  I’m finally going to see Pearl Jam live.  Sorry Indy concert fans, they’re not making an Indy stop (at least not that I know of).  I’ve got to trek out west to San Francisco to see the show, and it’s going to be totally worth it.  I might die if they don’t play “Release”,... 

The Indiana State Fair has put together an outstanding concert lineup this year. You can check our “Upcoming Indianapolis Concerts” page for details, but some of the highlights include Demi Lovato, Jon McLaughlin, Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Journey, and Jason Mraz — all in just over a week. Personally, I’m excited for Jon McLaughlin, who is performing with IndyConcerts favorites... 

If Kris Allen was ever going to make it in the music business, he had to win Idol.  So while I’m a little sad my boy Adam Lambert didn’t take home the crown, I think his future in music is secure.  I think the power of the conservative vote is obvious.  Danny fans obviously shifted to Kris.  If this finale was between Kris and Danny, me and other Idol fanatics agree, Danny probably would have... 

It all comes down to tonight.  Three songs, then America votes.  It’s hard to even compare these two guys – I mean there styles could not be more different from one another.  And truth be told, I doubt I’ll ever buy either album…but as I’ve said all season, I heart Adam Lambert.  I just wish he could lay off the screaming for one night to secure a victory.  I can’t...
