Intriguing, grandiose, thought-provoking and grandiose to its core, are all the major adjectives that describe Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball. Clad in sequins and purple hair extensions, I was there taking it all in–and friends, there was a lot to take in. I wanted to draw a big lighting bolt over my eye a la Gaga’s “Just Dance” video, but I was told by my accompanied guests... 

  If you’re Lady Gaga, you  wear a Victorian/leather-inspired creation. At least she covered up and isn’t wearing a unitard, bubbles or Kermit the Frog smock. Same can’t be said for Miley Cyrus, who’s just being Miley in this dress:  It’s not the worst thing she’s ever worn, but she is a 17-year-old meeting the Queen. The stage has been set for music’s biggest night and the competition is stiff. Unfortunately, we had to sit through a schizophrenic telecast  of  obscure performances (Nick Jonas and the Administration? Really?) and technical gaffs to receive the nominations. Beyonce leads the pack with 10 nominations while Taylor Swift trails her with 8. The Black Eyed Peas and Kanye West receive 6 nods each,...

Weeks after telling Jay Leno he would take some time off, Kanye West appears to be sticking to his word. West has called off his upcoming “Fame Kills” tour with Lady Gaga. The tour was to span three months and 34 shows while traveling across the U.S. and Canada, but instead it seems Kanye is going to use the time to reflect and figure out what he’s going to do with himself.
