Brad Real’s single “Rise Above,” featuring Indianapolis singer-songwriter Jason Firebaugh, has climbed to the top off the Indie-Music Hip-Hop Charts and generated strong internet buzz for over five months. The single has been featured on such blogs as Noise Porn, Kevin Nottingham, and Bringing Down the Band. So it’s no wonder Circle City-based production, art and design company, Spitten... 

I don’t know if you can all remember… but I dislike Lady Gaga. Not as a person. Don’t freak out! I just think her music is crap. She is trying WAY too hard to be the modern version of David Bowie. (Yes… I said it.) Now, don’t get me wrong -- I think a lot of what she actually does by herself is wonderful. She’s her own PR rep; she markets herself, clothes and music... 

Coldplay has just released the video for their latest single, “Strawberry Swing,” and it’s incredible. They’ve always had pretty unique videos but I think this one takes the cake. Lead singer Chris Martin plays a superhero battling against evil squirrels. I know that sounds awesome enough already, but that’s not even the best part — other than Martin, everything... 

James Morrison will be blessing the stage at The Vogue, in Broad Ripple, next Tuesday, 5/5/09. Morrison is one of my favorite artists, he just writes songs that make you feel good, or that you can relate to, I’m sure a lot of you will feel the same. But enough about me, more about him, James Morrison is a BRIT Award-winning English singer-songwriter and guitarist from Rugby, Warwickshire.... 

  Music videos are already really popular on YouTube. In fact, 10 of the 15 most popular videos of all-time on the website are official music videos, uploaded by the record companies themselves. Nonetheless, YouTube and Universal Music Group are trying something new, and have announced plans to launch a website called Vevo that will feature “premium video content.” Why launch a separate website...
