Kings of Leon cancel their remaining U.S. tour dates
Just a few days ago–July 29 to be exact–frontman Caleb Followill left the stage citing his voice being “100% wrong” and vowed to return to play a few more songs.
Sadly, he did not return and the show ended abruptly. While unfortunate, this may not be as bad as the news that followed for those planning on seeing them this summer.
Kings of Leon have canceled their remaining...

Warped Tour Interview: Relient K
It’s no secret: The 2011 Warped Tour is continuing their youth movement.
But for those worrying if all they’re going to see at Vans’ traveling punk rock circus is a laundry list of bands they’ve never heard of before, fear not. Search a little deeper and you’ll see there’s still plenty of veteran talent to go around. For every Black Veil Brides, D.R.U.G.S.,...
Warped Tour Interview: Madina Lake
Sometimes before you can get to paradise, you have to go through hell.
Take the guys in Madina Lake for example. Since 2005, they’ve built their foundation on an interesting concept (a trilogy telling the story of a fictional town turned upside-down after the disappearance of a socialite named Adalia), consistent touring and an energetic live show. Not bad for a band that funded their...
Warped Tour Interview: Shut Up and Deal
“…but if you work really hard and you’re kind, amazing things will happen.”-Conan O’Brien
Everyone is dealt a different hand in life. Some end up luckier than others while some may come up short. For the rest, sometimes it’s a matter of working hard, knowing the right people and being at the right place at the right time.
And for this next band, that’s...
What I Did This Summer: Reggae Odyssey at Vans Warped Tour
I had a plan going into Warped Tour on Thursday, I really did. I’d looked through the band list, figured out where I’d most like to cover things and decided I’d write a story about one specific stage which seems to most specifically mesh with the sorts of things I’d like to cover. The Tilly’s/Alternative Press Stage featured acts like The Aggrolites, Lionize and the Expendables, the sort...
Styx and YES bringing the “Progressive U.S. Tour” to Verizon Wireless Music Center
Summertime at Verizon will see its fair share of some of the finest contemporary acts the world has to offer.
Yet among the long list of rock, punk, country, or even dubstep shows going on, they’ll also welcome some of the best acts from yesteryear.
And come July 19, two of progressive’s biggest legends will bring their talents to Noblesville.
Styx is a band that needs no introduction. ...
Concert Review: Jason Aldean: My Kinda Party Tour
I love country music. I used to keep it a secret, in order to avoid questions of “why” or eye rolls because everyone thinks country music is all about your dog dying or your lover leaving. Although my love of country music runs deep, I had never been to a country music concert. Well, that is not completely honest; I saw Reba McIntire and Vince Gill at Verizon, when it was still Deer Creek,...
IDentity festival set to take over Verizon Wireless Music Center this summer
Electronic music: it’s not just for the club scene anymore.
Ever walk out of a club one night and thought to yourself if there was only a summer tour that featured my favorite artists in one easy, convenient, all-day electronic package? Well, wonder no longer, folks. Coming to Verizon Wireless Music Center Thursday, August 11 is the IDentity Festival.
What is this exactly? Here’s...

X103′s May Day featuring Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, and more at Verizon Wireless Music Center
As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, the eyes of the world slowly turn their gaze towards Central Indiana.
And while some people’s attention will be fixated on the track this Memorial Day Weekend for Carb Day (Friday) and the big race (Sunday), there is an even bigger party just up north of Indy.
Summer concert season is always an exciting time, and perhaps no one else hosts...
